Why We Are Here
OUR MISSION STATEMENT

To grow in our knowledge and understanding of our Lord and His plans for us, particularly in relationship to our local community.
-
To be led by the Holy Spirit through prayer, Bible study and God’s wisdom.
-
To increase attendance at home groups, prayer groups and other spiritually based gatherings.
-
To continue to be welcoming to people from all backgrounds and lifestyles.
-
To grow in our understanding of God’s chosen people, Israel, and be prepared for the return of the Lord.
What We Value
As we meet together and conduct our lives as a Church we believe and uphold the following principles, that;
-
The WORD OF GOD is our foundation and the WORD alone.
John 17:17 “Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.”
-
Unity in the body of believers is God’s gift and our priority. Ephesians 4:4
-
Listening to the Holy Spirit and being led by Holy Spirit are primary.
-
Perseverance and endurance are keys in discipleship. Revelation 14:12
-
God’s heart is for His chosen people (the Jews) and His chosen land (Israel). We value the importance of prophecy regarding Israel, especially the Book of Daniel, the Lord’s return, and prayer for Jerusalem. Revelation 14:1
-
Jesus Christ is our primary focus, not denominational preferences,
preferences or human traditions. Galatians 1:6-10
-
The presence of Christ is our daily awareness. Psalm 27:4
-
Prayer is primary – we pray before acting in every matter concerning this
church. Philippians 4: 5-7
-
Humility is a primary value when serving within the body. Philippians 2:3
-
The priesthood of all believers is affirmed/highly valued. 1 Peter 2:9
-
Believers baptism is encouraged. Matthew 28:19
-
The Great Commission is our mission. Matthew 28:19
-
Freedom in worship is greatly valued and encouraged. 1 Corinthians 14:26-33
-
The gifts of the Spirit are encouraged and freely expressed in body ministry.
-
Church leaders are encouraged and prayed for by the congregation as they seek to equip all believers to minister God’s Word.
